It's troubling to see how many students these days have completely zero school pride. They don't feel about their institute, they don't get involved in events, and they just seem indifferent. It's like they've forgotten what it means to be part of a group and support their fellow students. This lack of spirit is harmful to the entire school culture.

This Hat Isn't Right

Man, this cap just won't cooperate! I've tried to adjust it, but it still feels small. Maybe my head is just not meant for this. I guess it goes to show you that sometimes fit just right.

Not My Alma Mater

When I hear the words "alma mater|my old school|the place where I learned}", it doesn't bring back feelings of warmth and nostalgia. For me, it's a vague concept. Maybe because my experience there were so different, or perhaps I simply haven't had the time to look back. Whatever the reason, that phrase doesn't carry the same meaning for me as it does for others.

It's not that I dislike my time at school. It was a period of growth, just not one that resonates in the way many people describe.

Perhaps it's because I discovered my passions away from the traditional school setting. Or maybe it's because my memories are defined by different experiences. Whatever the case, "Not My Alma Mater|My School Is Different|This Isn't My Old School", and that's perfectly okay.

I Bleed Red

The world doesn't accept that I bleed a different hue. They stare with fear as I show the reality of my being. My blood is a symbol of {somethingdifferent that they can't perceive. They categorize me as abnormal, but I am simply special.

Spirit Week? Sounds Like Work

Seriously, school/the whole idea of/that thing they call "school spirit/spirit week/pep rallies" is about as appealing/relevant/interesting to me as a moldy sandwich/root canal/trip to the dentist. I'd rather be practicing my guitar/reading a good book/taking a nap than wearing a ridiculous costume and screaming at some game I couldn't care less about. Just let me learn and be

  • My teachers/My friends/Even my family all think I'm weird/missing out/crazy, but whatever. Their enthusiasm is contagious.
  • Maybe when I'm older

Just Here for the Snacks

Let's be real, sometimes gathering/ chilling/hanging website out with people/ friends/squad is all about the spread/ feast/ bounty! I mean, who can resist a good platter/ selection/ assortment of tasty treats/ goodies/ munchies? It's like a buffet/ an oasis/ the promised land of deliciousness/ yumminess/ pure snacking heaven. Give me cookies any day! I totally prioritize/live for/am here for those snacks/ goodies/ bites that make a gathering/ hangout/ party truly unforgettable.
